Online Holiday Cookie Swap: Dreidel Treats!

0
This time of year just begs for recipe sharing, but we don’t always have time to gather for an organized swap. Cue Patience Brewster’s (creator of these festive ornaments) online cookie exchange, a modern solution right at your fingertips!

Here’s how it works: At the bottom of this post, simply tell That’s SO Jenn your most favorite, absolutely can’t live without confection. Then, tag your friends and SHARE your new go-to database for inspiration on what to whip up!

My contribution is these adorable edible dreidels, just in time for the third night of Chanukah this evening. Kids will love getting their hands-on these Martha Stewart inspired goodies. They require only a few ingredients, are incredibly easy to make, and most importantly, taste delish. You can even set up an assembly line so guests can create their own during your celebrations this week! Before you know it, you’ll be singing ‘dreidel, dreidel, dreidel, I made it out of marshmallow…’

Ingredients:
Marshmallows
Thin pretzel sticks
Hershey’s Hugs
Vanilla frosting
Betty Crocker’s Easy Writer food decorating pens
Instructions:

Spread a small amount of vanilla frosting onto the bottom of each Hug.

Using it as glue, stick it to the flat side of the marshmallow.

Gently press a pretzel thin into the top of the marshmallow.

With the writing pen (I used blue for the holiday), write a dreidel letter onto the face of the marshmallow.

Eat and enjoy adding this sweet treat to your collection!
