Veggies and dip are a staple at any party, so I’m giving the familiar platter a twist for New Year’s Eve! This colorful crudite magically forms a clock once plated on a large round dish, with an array of options served in 12 disposable plastic cups (goodbye washing dishes, hello recycling!). Four dips are offered at the 12:00, 3:00, 6:00 and 9:00 spots, while red pepper strip ‘hands’ represent the countdown to midnight.
Get creative with a rainbow variety–Try purple cauliflower, orange carrots, yellow peppers, green snap peas, regular celery, and red tomatoes for pops of color. Feel free to embrace store bought dips such as hummus and creamy dressings (caesar, ranch…), or make your own sundried tomato white bean dip or Greek yogurt basil dip (recipe below).

- Ingredients for Basil Greek Yogurt Dip
- 6 oz. Greek yogurt
2 Tablespoons chopped fresh basil (about 4 leaves)
1/2 teaspoon garlic salt
Pinch of pepper to taste
