Yes that’s right, you read it correctly. A guilt-free dessert featuring two of the greatest friends of all times, chocolate and peanut butter. Are you ready for it?!
This past weekend we celebrated my future-sister-in-law’s bachelorette party, and since the other treats I made were, well, ehem, slightly inappropriate to post, (wink, wink), I decided to go with something that wasn’t in the specific, um, shape of anything. (How’s THAT for discrete?!)
Anywayyyy, I know she absolutely loves Reese’s cups, don’t we all, so I thought about how I could get that decadent taste without loads of fat and calories.
Hello! There’s a wedding in less than five weeks and we’d all like to look our very best! (Plus we needed something to balance out our lavish multiple course dinner and glasses of champagne we enjoyed throughout the evening…)
Keeping with TSJ’s typical parameters, my ‘recipe’ only requires 4 ingredients (5 if you count the garnish) and will take you about 3 minutes to prepare. It is so delicious that I almost ate it all the night before the party and pretended it never existed. But I didn’t. Because I’m a good person.
Ingredients:
*Half the recipe has only 135 calories, 1 gram of fat and equals 5 WW points*
1 1/3 cups nonfat Cool Whip
1 (1.4 oz.) box fat-free, sugar-free instant chocolate pudding
3 tablespoons PB2 (Can be found at most health food or grocery stores)
1 tablespoon nonfat milk
One chopped mini Reese’s cup (optional garnish)
Graham crackers for spreading (optional)
Instructions:
Scoop Cool Whip into a bowl.
Add entire packet of pudding mix.
Mix together with a spatula.
Sprinkle in PB2 (It comes in a powdered form, is all natural, and the taste is insane).
Mix again.
Pour in milk.
Stir together and transfer to a dish.
Garnish with one chopped mini Reese’s if desired. Can also be served as a dessert spread with graham crackers!
Eat and enjoy with other inappropriately shaped cookies and cakes.
WISHING A VERY HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO MY INCREDIBLE MOTHER TODAY!
